Why Past Time Ain’t As Good As It Used To Be
When did the fun disappear from our lives?
Remember the time, when evenings were filled with joy. The streets were filled with the hustle and bustle as people came back home from work.
Couples walking in the park, and children cheerfully playing in playgrounds. Indeed that was a time of bliss and satisfaction. Each day came with a surprise, something that always ushered relief in the end.
Ahh, the good ol’ days — what happened to us? How did we change, or what changed? There are many conclusive answers to reason with these arguments.
One such is that perhaps time flew but this time we weren’t aware of how swift it passed when we allowed ourselves to get absolved in work.
I still remember the time when days felt, like weekends — especially Mondays.
Time is divided now, we deal in seconds rather than minutes, we have compartmentalized time, using routine, schedules, and more.
I miss it, don’t you?
