How Your Optimistic Choices Will Help You Survive Anything in Your Life
The only one willing to save you is yourself, the only one who can.
Prompt: “If you knew you’d be saved in the end, would you still fight?”
Nobody is coming to save you.
Even if you pray to God for days and nights. You can only be saved unless you stand up by freeing yourself first. Saying this takes a lot of courage as I live by this code. And honestly, during my early teenage years, is where I lead a life of hardship filled with despair.
Despair, despair, despair…
everywhere I looked I found despair
no wonder I tripped venturing the unknown,
trusting the wind, as she led me to the shore
I’m the only one standing right here,
no one by my side
fear, fear, fear…
It was a troubling time for me. As I faced numerous academic challenges because my own mortality was on the line. I had to choose between the fight of my life and the struggle to perform in school. I chose the latter and worked diligently to push myself out of it alone. As I was not only battling the evils of society. But also trying to find value in what little I had left.
