Forgive Me
He said, as he ran towards the room
Panicking within, tearing anew
Asking to stay, as she tried to leave
It was not his fault, that he made her feel insecure
He said a few words that made her shed duress
Now she runs back to them, when she finds herself struggling
She is afraid from change, as she cowers in fear
Of working every day to conquer her fears
She blames it on him, as it comes easy without a price
He doesnt ask her to stay, as he is still hurting inside, he asks her to leave to go find it infact
She has left the room, pretending to act strong
She blames herself too much, she never stands strong
She bends to the will, that was taught to her then
The will that he tried to break, and tear within
A shackle of her own making, she frets
Back into the cage that made her a feigned creature
To hide herself from what presents as a choice
To free herself from the freedom he inspires
She acts with anxiety, sees change as a threat, as she is not ready to accept
Time will come at her own choice, one day if she decides to listen to the points he made
Until then she will be enslaved by her own desires, as she is a slave to her ownself
