He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare, And he who has one enemy will meet him everywhere — Ali ibn Abi Talib

Also to quote, “you don’t even have enemies”, some people will become just like that, also I believe you were a victim of the systemic racism, that I believe does exist but nobody talks about honestly, I believe what you experienced is what a Gaijin would experience if he/she were to dabble in Japanese culture, they would also be welcomed with such kinds of remarks! Even if you’re somewhat a Hafu, there is still racism that you might face whenever you try to blend in with other cultures, as most people from specific places aren’t really that welcoming when it comes to an outsider using their language towards them which is really strange.

We are here on earth to do good for others. What the others are here for, I don`t know. — Wystan Hugh Auden

But how would you know, you were doing it out of goodwill; you had good intentions, that perhaps most people have missed from your entire topic is that you’re hurting and you have never really experienced this phenomenon thus it has caught you off guard. But it exists everywhere, people might even deny but they can’t really reciprocate towards your experience what you’re feeling right now, as they have never really experienced it themselves.

Always be nice to people whatever how bad they are to you, to show them that you are not like them. — Louis Tomlinson

Though I really wish, I would get these forms of criticisms as you do Salam Khan, I thrive in criticisms; I practically enjoy and learn from them. Of course, it is a part of the bigger picture. I am still waiting for the language support on medium to write some middle eastern poetry that I learned from an old friend and mentor of mine. I tried writing it a few days back, but it seems the editor doesn’t really support Arabic text, that much. But overall, it was awesome to write it out and also read this collaborative piece on your experience regarding being polyglot and the humorous criticisms that do come to your way.

I write about life, and the hope it bears in a poetic context. 💖🕊️
