An Epiphany of Hope

A poem dedicated to the people who suffer from depression

Image was shot by me, Denthrowecanvas

The calming echo of the wind breeze,
The chirping of the birds,
The humming of the bees

The soft kiss of the air on my skin,
A morning that came with hope, therein
I walk across the garden no less
To find myself, coping with stress
It causes me to lose my joy,
Alas I asked to be relieved, with a sigh

I move towards the orchard in search
of a fragrance, that cures my depression no less
And, in that span, the wind does stop
blessing me with the coolness, in my head & my heart

I shut my thoughts of sadness & despair
to enjoy the moments, the druids made fair
For me who wills to become relieved,
A sense of joy, I want to feel I believe
Though they arrive on time, I reckon

A walk that brought a tethered hope
All my tears shed, were not in vain
For the help I prayed, I indeed gained
A blissful feeling it was, I’d say
An epiphany of hope, I finally received

I write about life, and the hope it bears in a poetic context. 💖🕊️
